70’S CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION @ DINTON VILLAGE HALL

“Advisory Notice ~~Date Change”

It is regret that due to circumstance be on our control we  have to move the date of the 70@s Christmas Celebration at Dinton Village Hall.

We have been informed that Network Rail are undertaking track repair work on then line at Dinton and they will be using the overflow car park as their storage /works depot both day and night. As this overflow car park can holds around 23 units it is a great loss.

Rather than cancel we have rebooked the hall for the weekend of:-

It we have the same theme and program as we had planned for the 70@s Christmas Rally event.

we appreciate for some this date will not fit in with your future plans or commitments but we do hope you will be able to join us and start your festive season even earlier in 2023.

70’s Christmas Celebrations at Dinton Village Hall

Come and celebrate  70’s Christmas at Dinton Village hall.  Join us for a nostalgic weekend of fun, games and dancing and bring out your inner Glam Rocker. “Dress the part Competition”

Friday Evening: A get to know you social with games plus how well do you remember the 70’s

(bring your own drinks and nibbles).

Saturday Evening: A drinks reception at 7pm followed by a 70’s Style light Buffet supper, then dance the night away with music from ‘DJ Flip Side’ until 11pm.

The annex hall will be open all day with tea, coffee and board games available.

Will we also be holding a raffle in aid of the chairman’s chosen chairty “The friends of MV Freedom”

So any donations will be gratfully recieved on his behalf.

A Social Fee will apply for this weekend of £6.50 person paid on arrival.

From Dorchester: take A35 towards the Puddletown junction and take the A354 signposted Blandford Forum/Salisbury. At Salisbury take A30/A36 towards Wilton. At Wilton roundabout take the first exit, A30 towards Shaftesbury. Go through Wilton on the A30 for about 3 miles. Just after the BP garage turn right onto the B3089 towards Dinton. As you go through the village there is a signpost on the left ‘’Village Hall’. Turn left into Bratch Lane, the hall is on the right, 75 yards down the lane. Follow WD signs. If travelling on the A303, after Chicklade, take the B3089 towards Dinton. In the village turn right into Bratch Lane and continue as above.
