West Dorset Centre Invitation to all Centres in Wessex region

 DESCRIPTION : The Show is a two day event of non stop main ring attractions including show jumping, carriage driving and sheep dogs. Other rural community activities are on display outside the main arena, including a permanent lake for angling and gun dog demonstrations. There are also over 350 different trade stands selling everything from wellies to windows and tractors to truffles! There is a food hall with live demonstrations and marquees with flowers, prize winning vegetables and arts and craft.

All members attending the event must arrive on Friday because of the congestion on Show days when a one way traffic system will be in operation. Our event will continue until Monday 12 Noon for members wishing to stay over Sunday night.

Directions:  – Dorset County Show – The Showground Dorchester, DT2 7SD

The Showground at Cokers Frome, Dorchester is situated on the B3143 Dorchester to Piddlehinton road and will be signposted from all directions. Continue past the main show entrance and turn left at the first cross roads signposted, Frome Whitfield. The Camping field is through Gate 4 approximately half a mile on the left adjoining the showground, look for and follow the red West Dorset (W/ D) signs

Site Fee: £25 total cost for one, two or three nights

Admin & event fee  £5

No of Units :  ( Including marshals) = 100

EHU: No  Grass field

Deposit of £5 per van To Secure your Booking payable from 1st Jan 2024 &  please pay direct to the West Dorset Centre by BACS with reference DORCHESTER SHOW or by Cheque payable to ‘CAMC West Dorset Centre’.

Show tickets will be available on arrival; we will have two day ticket at a considerable saving on the gate price. Children are free
