EVENT No 05 FREE & EASY HERSTON CARAVAN AND CAMPING - SWANAGE

DIRECTIONS – From Dorchester: Take the A35 towards Poole. About 1 mile after the Bere Regis roundabout, turn right towards Wareham. Take A351 towards Swanage. Continue for approximately 9½ miles. Turn left onto Washpond Lane. After approximately ½ mile turn right to the site. Watch out for W/D signs. A first time visit to this site nestled in the Purbeck Hills. On site facilities include a shop, bar, children’s play area, laundrette and shower block. A short stroll away is Herston Holt where you can catch a train on the Swanage Heritage line to Corfe Castle, a National Trust site. The bustling town of Swanage with its beach and famous beach huts is a 20 minute walk away. If you prefer to travel a little further afield, Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Weymouth and Poole are all within easy reach.
